Accrue

To grow or increase over time, especially by adding gradually; generally refers to payments owed but which have not yet been paid.

Example: X Company borrowed $1 million at 7% interest, payable annually at the end of the year (i.e., $70,000 per year).  Each month $5,833.33 of interest accrues (1/12th of the annual total).
